Background
During the 50s Huzur Qeblah Sayed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Rahmatullahi Alaih) happened to preside over a Mahfeel at Shekherkhil, Banchkhali, Ctg. At the beginning of his speech he started like this “Innallaha Oamalaikatahu usalluna Alannabiy Ya Ayuhallzina A manu Sallu Alaihi Oasallimu Tasleema”- the rest was to be uttered by the audience. But he observed that instead of doing so a large portion of the audience remained silent & started ridiculing him and showed audacity. It was natural that the 39th generation of our prophet (Sallallahu Alihe Oasallam) could not stand with this impudence. He could not find any peace of mind until he received a spiritual solution. “Eak Madrasah Banna Chahie”. Then he started to fulfil his attempt successful. The first thing was to select an appropriate place “ Eaise aek jaga Hoga ju Sahar bi Nehi, ju ga0 bi Nehi, Maszid bi hay, Talab bi hay”-many locations for establishing the Madrasha had been shown to Hujur Qeblah (R) but nothing could satisfy him. In fine the place where the present Madrasha building is standing could satisfy Hujur Kebla’s soul. He uttered, “Ehase Elmka Khushbu Arahihe”. Then Hujur Qeblah himself set the foundation stone of a 168 feet long three storied building and this is the original building of Jamea Ahmadia Sunnia Alia. At the beginning, as Hujur Qeblah (R) showed a desire to raise it up to a university, this name was transferred to Jamea Ahmadia Sunnia according to the resoulation of Anjuman-e-Rahmanina Ahmadia Sunnia The new name was declared in the 1st annual meeting on 21st March 1956.
Objective and Goal of Establishing Jamea
Based on the ideology of Iman-e-Ahle Sunnat Ala Hajrat. Sayedul Aulia Sayed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (R) uttered a most valuable verdict at the time of the foundation laying ceremony of Jamea-“Yea Madrasah Ka Buniad Masalke Ala-Hajrat Per Dhala Geya”. So, Jamea started its onward journey with Hajrat Allamah Wakar Uddin Brelavi, a renowned Alem-e-deen of this sub continent and one of the pillars of Maslke Ala Hajrat in 1956. Then Shahebjada Gause Zaman Sayed Muhammad Tyeb Shah (R.) selected Allamah Nasarullah Khan, a note-worthy personality among the followers of the ideology of Hajrat. Therefore all the academic and administrative activities of Jamea had been being performed according to the maslake Ala Hajrat in the practical sense. This Jamea is the first institution that attempted to establish the doctrine of Ala Hajrat in Bangladesh and now undoubtedly plays the principal role in leading Maslak-e-Ala Hajrat around Bangladesh under the Principal.
Government Affiliation 
With the consent of Hujur Qeblah (R.) and at the wholehearted effort and sincerity of the well wishers Jamea achieved government affiliation as a Fazil Madrasah from the then East Pakistan Madrasah Board in 1962. The Madrasah acclaimed government affiliation for Kamil Hadith in 1972, Kamil Fiqa in 1985 & Kamil Tafsir in 1995. From 1984 the Madrasah has been enjoying the honour of being the center of all central Examinations of Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.
The dignity & prestige of Jamea is going to be upgraded by being selected to conduct honours courses in two subjects namely Quran and Islamic S Hadith, Fiqa, Islamic Studies and Arabic Language & Literature by the Islamic University Kustia, Bangladesh.
